What it is and means??

The Tri-University Classified Staff Council would first like to thank the
current and past University of Arizona, Arizona State University & Northern
Arizona University Presidents for their support of the classified staff
councils at each University.  Each Presidents continued support and
recognition of the contributions of each council, help to reinforce the
contribution of all classified staff employees in making each University a
world-class institution.

We would also like to recognize each of the Universities commitment to
reduce the burden of employee related expenses or Benefit costs borne by
each university employee. Each of the Universities decision to absorb a
higher percentage of benefit package costs, reflects the commitment of each
University to ensure benefit package costs do not erode the recent salary
and wage increases.

The Tri-University Classified Staff Council would also like to thank Arizona
Board of Regents and each of the Universities for their commitment to
provide competitive wages for the classified staff employees. We know the
past merit increase have greatly impacted all University employees by
providing a higher living wage. We will continue to support the efforts of
the Arizona Board of Regents and each University in their future lobbying
efforts to provide market equity in wages for the classified staff and all
state University employees.
